Библиографические сокращения

Цитирование и сокращения

При цитировании или отсылкам к современной литературе, никогда не переводившейся на русский язык, библиографическое описание книг и журналов сохранено в том виде, в котором оно дано автором книги, за исключением использования курсива. Сокращения, используемые при указании иностранной литературы (в основном это названия научных журналов), приведены в конце этой книги.

Если имеется русский перевод той или иной современной книги, цитируемой Крюгером, цитаты приводятся по этому переводу с соответствующим библиографическим указанием. При частом цитировании указание дается в кратком виде – фамилия автора, название, страница, тогда как полное указание приводится в библиографическом списке в конце этой книги вместе с указанием оригинального издания, которым пользовался Крюгер.

Цитаты из отцов Церкви и иных исторических источников приводятся в традиционном виде – с указанием автора, названия работы, книги и главы (в зависимости от структуры того или иного произведения). Обычно в научной литературе при цитировании подобных источников используется система сокращений, основанная на латинских названиях данных текстов. Однако в этом издании вместо латинских сокращений было решено использовать русские. При этом сокращаются названия лишь тех источников, которые цитируются много раз и чьи сокращенные наименования легко узнаются. В прочих случаях имя автора и название произведения приводятся в более полном виде.

Практически все исторические источники, используемые Крюгером, имеются в русских переводах, по которым и выверены цитаты. Ниже приводится таблица, содержащая указание на русские издания исторических текстов.

Цитаты из Библии (включая неканонические книги Ветхого Завета) приводятся по нескольким русским переводам. Если при цитировании нет дополнительных отметок, то цитата приводится по Синодальному переводу. В случае, если использован другой русский перевод, это указывается в каждом случае.
